What is Willow & Wild Box?

Willow & Wild Box has been created to connect children with nature. We offer a range of subscription boxes as well as one-off boxes and children’s gardening gifts.

What age your nature-inspired subscription boxes for?

Our boxes are filled with activities suited to 3-8 year olds. Some adult supervision may be required for younger subscribers.

What different subscription boxes do you do?

Willow & Wild Box offer a month-by-month subscription as well as prepaid subscriptions of 3, 6 and 12 months. We also offer sibling boxes which include extra items.

Is everything included in the boxes?

The boxes contain everything you need - glue, brushes, paint, compost discs and craft materials - you need. Occasionally you need to add a fir cone, twig or egg box - as we can’t fit those in the box! You will also need a pot to plant the seeds but these can be made from egg boxes, loo rolls or old tin cans.

Do we need a garden to get the most out of the boxes?

The good news with our boxes is that you don’t! Our seeds can be grown on a windowsill or on a balcony in pots. Our instructions cater for those who need to plant inside as well as outside.

Do you repeat the contents of the box every year?

All our boxes have new content every month and we don’t repeat the contents each year. Sometimes the seeds might be the same as last year. We tend to have sunflowers, tomatoes and carrots each year but our craft activities are new.

Are Willow & Wild Box vegan?

Unfortunately due to the nature of our boxes we cannot guarantee our boxes will be vegan free every month. We do release the contents of each box around the 20th of the month so you can always check what’s in each box and we can always pause your box for you.

Are your boxes suitable for those with nut allergies?

Most of our boxes contain bird seeds and we also have nut products in our workshop where we pack our orders, so we would advise not to purchase our boxes if you or your child has a nut allergy. 

PRE-SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

How do I subscribe to Willow & Wild Box?

Head over to: https://willowandwildbox.co.uk/collections/home

Choose your subscription and term length and follow the instructions online. You’ll be asked a couple of questions such as your child’s name and whether you’d like to include a gift message.

Is Postage included in my subscription?

Yes this is included in your box price.

When will I receive my first box?

We ship our boxes out on the 25th of every month, so if you have ordered within 7 days before this you will receive your first box within a few days of this date. If you have joined Willow & Wild Box from 26th of the month to 18th of the month, you will be sent the current’s month box.

Can I subscribe 2 or more of my children?

Yes, we offer special siblings box for sharing. It has 2 sets of craft materials and larger packets of seeds with some of the contents which can be shared for instance, laminated cards, booklet, paint brushes & glue sticks. Find our siblings boxes here.

For sibling boxes I can only enter one child’s DOB?

One date of birth is fine, it’s so we can ensure the box isn’t going to a child under 3.

Do your monthly bumper boxes change each month?

Yes they do - they have the same contents as the letterbox and SiblingsBox but with extra craft activities or materials and bio degradable pots too. 

CUSTOMER SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

How do I create an account for my nature-inspired subscription?

When you join Willow & Wild Box you will be invited to create your own personal account online. This will allow you to cancel, pause and change your subscriptions. If you do not receive this email or are unable to create your account please contact us.

Can I upgrade my box from one child to a sibling box?

Yes, if you have an account with us you can do this by signing in and choosing the products you’d like to change to. If you are unable to do this, please contact us. 

Will my subscription automatically renew?

All our subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of your term, unless you click the ‘GIFT’ checkbox when placing your order.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription 2 days before the anniversary of your subscription date, and you can do this by signing into your customer account. If you are unable to do this yourself, please email hello@willowandwildbox.co.uk or contact us for assistance.

Can I pause my subscription?

You can pause your subscription 2 days before the anniversary of your subscription date, and you can do this by signing into your customer account. If you are unable to do this yourself, please email hello@willowandwildbox.co.uk or contact us for assistance.

If I resubscribe will the box content repeat for the next subscription?

GIVE THE GIFT OF A WILLOW & WILD BOX

Can I order a subscription as a gift?

Yes, our boxes make wonderful birthday and Christmas gifts – Or just as a treat! They’re a great way to get children into the garden, or learning about wildlife and planting indoors.

To order as a gift head to our subscription options and choose which box you’d like to subscribe to. You can choose our 3 month, 6 month or 12 month option. Once decided, enter the child’s name, dob and enter your gift message. Please remember to tick the ‘Is this a gift?’ checkbox before completing your subscription – This ensures your subscription doesn’t automatically renew at the end of its term.

Can I order a one off box?

Yes you can, to do this you’d need to subscribe to our Monthly Subscription box and then remember to cancel you box once the first one has been received. To do this you can set up an account – Which you will receive instructions to when you sign up, or you can email us if you are having difficulties and we can action this for you. 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

How long does delivery usually take?

Our subscription boxes and gifts are posted 2nd class via Royal Mail so can take between 3-5 days to receive. However due to the current pandemic, our deliveries can take a little longer.

My box hasn’t arrived what should I do?

Please email us at hello@willowandwildbox and we will take a look to see when your item was shipped. It may have been that your item has gone AWOL, if this is the case we will resend your box to you.

My box has arrived but I’m missing items, can you help?

All our boxes are packed manually by hand, this means that at times some items may get missed or fall out during shipping. If this is the case please email us at hello@willowandwildbox outlining what’s missing and we will be happy to send out replacements.

Do you deliver to the Channel Isles?

Yes we can offer delivery to the Channel Isles.

Do you deliver to other countries in Europe?

We are currently not taking on any new customers outside of the UK.

Do you deliver to Ireland?

We are currently not taking on any new customers outside of the UK.

Do you deliver to the USA?

Unfortunately we are unable to ship to the USA as we are not allowed to send seeds outside Europe.
